Putting wings to a 30 year old dream will hopefully find me in Melbourne this April. Was reading back in the 1980's about those who were detecting nuggets in WA with the equipment then available, and have never shook the desire to be on it since. I'm putting together a shoestring visit for two months to be divided between Victoria and WA, and hoping to share time and experiences with many of you true Diggers! I love the stories of the rushes, and mightily anticipate savouring some time in your historic locations, and with the friends made along the way.

Picking the seasons are important , WA is not a place to be in summer

I am sure you will enjoy it immensely and yes there is still gold being found for those who research first then put in some spade work
