Well , what a surprise . Have half crushed the rock to powder & found 15 specs so far. Will crush the rest, along with the other rock to see what it contains.
Just goes to show that rocks that contain quartz & chlorite do contain gold, even if small

Good stuff Paul, glad you gave it a good bust-up.
Regardless of the lesser specimen, that gold content is extremely nice to see. That's more gold than I've seen from several hours work in some places
I'll bet if you could find the source of the Chlorite outcropping (or whatever it's situated in around the area) you'd probably do pretty darn well!
