Its usually my mum that calls with long drawn out stories about their neighbours washing or how someone left heir walker in the lift,but last night the old boy rang with a story and he was quite chuffed.
they have a new neighbour ... An old duck, who is quite partial to good scotch (ye , i didnt think there was such a thing either :lol: )
She gave dad a bottle of the stuff because she didnt like it.
Apparently, shes had this bottle(still in the box) for 40 odd years
She cracked it open because it was too late to go find a bottlo while unpacking
After finally managing to remove the dry broken cork , she didnt like the taste
So went to meet the neighbours(my oldies) with bottle in hand ....
