Hey Tath,
I feel your pain brother. I was a pipe smoker for a thousand years. My friends would tell me, Mackka that smell is fantastic what is it?
However, when I walked in George Street smoking my pipe the scenario was quite different, that stinks, ya polluting bastard, etc,
I gave up because I had a scratchy feeling at the back of my tongue, it lasted for weeks.
I saw an ear, nose and throat specialist.
He said that the tiny hairs on the back of my tongue (1,400) had hardened due to my smoking and could lead to further complications in the future.
He then told me that every Tuesday his day was going to the hospital and cutting people's tongues out and and taking a muscle from the shoulder to fill the hole in the throat.
I stopped smoking that day!
My best wishes to all smokers.
Mackka
