Gold Tours and Training Days that you WOULD Recommend

Hey 7.62, it's a great list mate. Gold Prospecting Australia also do Vic tours/training, but I've not attended. I'm sure it would be of the same quality.
This list will be a great aid to us all. At first I was sceptical, but it's working great - so far.
Good on you for starting - I hope that it becomes a sticky.

The digger and I did a coiltek Maryborough training day on Saturday 29/05/2017
It consisted of a half day training(lectures plus field demo) and after lunch, a half day with a gpx4500 detecting at spot they took us to practice what we had learned.
It was good for us, as we had never used a gpx4500 and by the end of the day, we had enough knowledge to start using it to find targets.

Gold Prospecting Australia, announced a couple of weeks ago, that they have ceased their FNQ tours after 10 years of operating them. They will however be continuing the their Vic GT training days and tours.
Prior to me attending their FNQ trip this year I attended a training day in Vic when I first got my GPX4500 a couple of years ago, and where I found my first piece if gold. I did their training prior the Minelab training and found their training so much better, to the point I found the Minelab training, in comparison, a total waste of time. I am not associated with them in any way. Just highly recommend them. Cheers

Gold and Relics are a Victorian based business and they do tag along tours to WA and NSW and also around Victoria
the list has a gold relics name but one needs to be spot on with a business name and where they are from . I highly recommend their tours as Darren has w wealth of experience and you do get one on one tuition even though your in a group the OKA 4WD bus is their business identification signature

Be nice to now see customers reviews as/when they do a tour. Realise many with heaps of experience may not be "into" escorted tours but I'm sure plenty of of those new to detecting/prospecting would probably benefit from some 1 on 1 (or similar) instruction.
As I have 1 coming up 1st/2nd Sept with NSW & WA Gold Tours I'll post my review on their operation and my time in the Hill End area on my return.

Pretty sure he's heading to Old before it gets too hot up there, but will spend a couple of days at the Royal Hotel .... think he said it's around $60/night with breakfast and dinner included .....
