Gold Course in WA

Hi Folks has anyone done a 3 day gold course in WA.
Costs about $800 a head and gives you access to their leases??
If you did was it worth it??

It's worth it if you're doing the course with a reputable company or operator. There are a number of things they would teach you about finding gold legally and successfully including using your detector and staying safe in the bush, a good course will probably teach you as much in 3 days as you would learn in 3 years if you don't have exeprienced friends to guide you.

I was thinking of the Leonora course. Some guys from the Adelaide Detector club have voiced an interest in doing a course next year.

When I first got serious about detecting I booked a 5 day Goldrush Camp with Lisa and Tony at Leonora but unfortunately Covid hit and WA closed thier border so I couldn't get there, I was very disappointed, but I was lucky to have my brother and a few other experienced prospectors to help me learn enough and gain a bit of confidence in what I was doing.

My partner and I did the course with Goldtalk Leanora and I highly recommend it

I don't think you could go wrong with them as they are very experienced and have a wealth of knowledge. Best wishes.
