Gold around Colongolook area NSW

Hi guys me and my son have just taken up prospecting and have spent a few days out at curekki creek without even finding a single speck we are wondering if anyone can point us in the right direction of the gold mines that were around the creek back in the 1880's

are the only ones i can find near the creek you asked about maybe more on another program
