I was intrigued by the gold bug2s capabilities, seen better reports on the xterra 705s which run at 6.5 and 18.5khz with tonnes of coils available thatl punch deeper also the eureka runs at 6,20 and 60khz and been told it punches real deep with the coiltek Wot coil, best of both worlds multi frequency vlf,s,the newer safari runs from 1-100khz with 28 simaltaneous frequencies, gold bugs youre stuck with one mate those machines are available for $950ish aswell mate

Been looking at all kinds of machines, the Eureka has 3 different frequencies, so that looks good, the 705 looks like a good machine, so fingers crossed I win one in the Easter raffle ;)

My brain hurts with all the different types of machines available in the up to $1200 bracket, and all manufacturers claim their machines are the best and all seems to have reviews confirming this. . . .

Check this video on you tube, search "etrac 3000 gold find" minelab extreme picks a tiny nugget and latest technology multi frequency vlf misses it,im assuming coz of the depth :) ask yourself are the nuggets you find much smaller than this?and how many are deeper :)
