Well that was a fizzer. A few flashes and a drizzle of rain. Although that swirling front in the bite is looking interesting and another front behind it.

Watching tv then BOOM thunder. Almost jumped out of my skin. Fair bit around now. Few heavy showers.

Weather forcasters were right this time.
Thunderstorm happening now. Heavy rain.
There was a clap of thunder just now that sounded like a rifle shot. Scared the hell out of the cat :cloudy:

Just checked the rain guage here. 28 mm and still more rain coming. Haven't had rain this heavy for years.

Would be nice if we had some accurate rainfall for this district. Even the local weather station located at the school is 10 mm short. Our weather data comes from Minlaton 30 miles away which is 20 mm short of what we got.
