No I haven't seen an Esso in years either. We won't see Caltex for much longer here in Oz either, they are going back to Ampol in Australia.

Things have progressed even further since then.
- Exxon and Mobil merged in November 1999, but wait there is more.
- ExxonMobil divested their retail operations in Australia, several years later with many going to 7 Eleven and also to United.
- The Mobil refinery still operates at Altona and is still a major fuel supplier to different many fuel brands with all 7 Eleven being supplied by Mobil.
- More recently Mobil branded servos have re-opened, but not many so far.
