I hate to admit it, but when I was a young apprentice, I was sent out to the local bakery to get morning tea and one of the fellas asked for a randy tart ... and yup, I asked the lady in the shop for one. They had a good laugh at my expense.

The sad thing is, I've been looking for one ever since!

Your not alone mate...
Everyone loves a tart ;)

Righto here's one for the last of the dieing breed of all us smokers. Parked up at the Neerim Sth Pub for the night to spectate day 2 of the winch comp and this sign sits closest to the outdoor heater  thank God this publican has the guts to maintain a bit of common sense :power: :Y: :perfect:

How come the label has an Aussie tag in top RH corner when the product is grown in China.?? I avoid chinese stuff as far as possible would rather pay twice as much for Aus'.

It's an abuse of privilege imo :N: read Aussie Farmers following post :Y: after the picture. I don't see anything funny in it to be honest, don't want the thread to go south so I'll shut up now.

So true. Had a burn-off on the weekend, used one whole box of long Redheads to finally get it going. Some matches broke twice before they would simply fizzle and burn out, Others broke until too short without lighting and in the end the striking patches on the side had completely worn out. Turned the box over and it said "Made in China". Went inside to get the box that we light the Coonara with, and they looked identical but struck without breaking or fizzing out. Turned the identical box over to read "Made in Sweden". I remember the old Bryant and May match factory down in Richmond when I was young, back when they were a great Aussie made product.

So that's the completed cycle of the race to the bottom, that keeps the shareholders happy I guess :(

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to upset anyone.
I found it funny because its been wrongly advertised, nothing more.
Clearly has a "Australian Grown" symbol in the top right hand corner with the "Produce Of China" in the bottom left.
A clear contradiction =

Strange, I have a similar issue with a pack of Redheads and the box says that they were made in Sweden. Wood is thin and breaks, heads fall off, or stick to the striker, etc.
