My wife tells me to “Grow up will ya!” So I guess I am still a kid and enjoying it. I am also abnormal and I prefer that to being normal if you know what I mean. Mackka3 classic one there SS....

kids these days miss out on so much
I'm not seeing that with our grandkids - but our kids keep them outside and off the electronics, limiting and choosing the latter carefully. They seem to have a ball. I think excessive screen time can cause a lot of problems - it gives parents quiet time while mostly not encouraging kids to use their own imagination ("potted entertainment"). And I think it is mostly parents not schools who cause the problem - our grandkids seem to have teachers with much the same attitude as our kids (but we have a choice of schools here - and the parents choose them).
And we grandparents try to introduce them to activities that they would miss otherwise - but then we introduced our kids to rock climbing, snorkelling, scuba, hiking and camping from age 5.
