I've done all of those except the ladder on the chimney, and I'm still alive and kicking. Ok,I haven't trimmed a hedge with a ride-on but I've rode a few machines suspended from a crane. The Nanny state officials would turn in their graves but with a bit of common sense it's amazing what you can get away with.
