Thought this might be a good idea for prospectors and general people who are travelling around OZ.
Post up free and budget camping sites only and gps co-ords and maybe rating of 1-5 stars for basic amenities like toilets, showers, water, dogs allowed, and peace and quiet etc.

Anyone with other ideas to add fire away.
Maybe we can break into sub groups Qld, Nsw, Vic etc.
Yes Qld is first until NSW can win State of Origin.

Hi Guys, Today i have a list of free camping spots in victoria to share.

Warbutons Bridge- Near Glenluce and is a good place for fishing and swimming!

Majors Creek reserve- Near Puckapunyal and is also good for fishing and swimming!

O'Briens Camp Ground-Located in Wombat state forest near blackwood and is a good place for gold searching, swimming, walking, fishing and 4wding.

Big Hill- Located in the Otway National Park, Big Hill is near Lorne and is good for hiking!

Camp Firth Park- Located in state forest near Daylesford and Trentham and is ideal for walking, fishing camping and sight seeing :)

You are allowed to light a camp fire at any of these locations in Victoria :)

Most of them have well maintained toilets as well :)
