Gday

Speaking of cow dung, told a mate how good it was to burn the cow pats in the camp fire to keep the flies and mozzies at bay, later on I threw a few big dry pats into the fire and left them to smolder, when we came back to camp some time later the wind had changed direction and the smoke was wafting straight in to his camper trailer doorway, of course I was very sympathetic about it  anyway he was dirty about it said that the camper now really stunk of cow dung, I said to him at least you wont have any flies and mozzies to worry about and all he said was that the smell was keeping him out as well, still to this day he gets dirty when I mention it

cheers

Another +1 for Natures Botanical.

Great stuff, just a smear on hat brim keeps the little buggers off.

DEET, The active part of most repellents is nasty with a number of plastics. I do a fair bit of trout fishing and it will melt Flyline . Also had a couple of expensive pairs of good polaroids go west when fishing in FNQ, hot sweaty, plenty of fly repellent and the glasses like delaminated in from the edges. Will also damage varnish finishes.

Put on to it by a friends family who mainly use it on horse harnesses to keep the flies from sending the horses mad.

Which is why you can buy it at Horseland and other saddlery type places.
