Really need to get off my backside and get myself re-employed since leaving mining/exploration industry, though may require a whole lot of retraining and complete turn around in career direction to do so. :|

Just spoke to the Mrs about going bush for a few days and got into a "yes...but on the proviso you start to seriously look for work" discussion. Not sure she is all that convinced that pursuing man-of-leisure activities while waiting for the economy to improve is the right return to work strategy. :

I haven't done a job interview in over 35 years. Still in the same job I started aged 17. 8)

yep, I have advanced to the stage where they check my refs, and given me an online psych test. Doubt I will find out this week, but feel pretty confident

I got the job In other news, Ramjet is not only a top bloke/mediocre detectorist, but also a psychic!
As I was digging a signal today, he started to ask me if I had heard about the job, he didnt quite finish the sentence when my mobile rang....it was the employer telling me, that I was successful! A very cool day, a job, and a pocket full of pre decs, found with a good mate Also had another interview this week, smashed it, so maybe I will have 2 jobs lol
