Gday legends Long time between drinks!
Ended up selling the 4500 in 2017 & kinda regret it now
Im back in looking for a new gold detector (2nd hand probably and want to stick to max $2500ish)
Are the QED anygood? Or another brands worth looking into? Or just stick with a Minelab?

Stick with minelab mate :Y: get another 4500 or an sdc.
You may have to push your budget to 3k , but if you are patient something will turn up . Usually you end up with extra's like coils etc as well .
Yes as soon as the new minelab 6000 pops up the 4500 and 5000 will start dropping in price.
