Pulled an all dayer at the beach yesterday after the hot weather hoping to find some jewellery. Had a pretty solid day running 4 Tone Ferrous with an open screen. Some very deep targets and some gold at 2 inches. Forgot to add the ring to the finds shot

What is the small dark coin in amongst the $2 coins?
PS - I had a Capricorn pendant very similar to that as a child. What state are you in Coinballs?

Thanks Goldpick, my closest surf beach and it was quite surprising yesterday. Went there looking for new stuff and pretty much everything I got had been there for awhile. Pretty sure it was a US one cent spatch and I live in Victoria

Find of the day was this Returned From Active Service WW2 badge dated 1940. I plan on trying to return it to the blokes family

Total finds, half pennies are 1898 and 1916

Haha cheers bud, the place was loaded with can slaw, bottle tops and other bits of crap. Stoked I found the badge, was gold plated back in the day

Could get it cleaned up,... wonder if the war memorial mob have money to burn on getting it regilded before it gets returned to the family ?
Could make for a great story there along the way.

The service badge was a great find, comes up as Arthur Barclay Bust of the RAAF, served as a Leading Aircraftman.
