Finally....

Due to an on-going elbow injury, I recently bought a Deus from Justin at Lost Treasures. Thanks to a member on another forum, yesterday I was able to go on my first serious hunt in months, after he invited me to detect on one of his permissions. I was able to get out and give the Deus a decent swing, and he was able to have a go with my CTX. Both of us had some success in the short, but relaxed hunt. I was able to score four pre-decs from the one hole next to a fallen tree: '44 Roo Penny, '42 Florin, '31 Shilling and '24 Two Shilling/Florin.

Thanks again guys. After I cleaned the silvers I was blown away by their condition....really made my day, and I feel like I got a bit of my detecting mojo back. Just need to follow through and get out more. Plus, I think it's time to do some local research. I've also noticed a lot of older houses have been removed in the local area and the land is for sale. Mostly these blocks end up with blocks of units or Medical/Dental Superclinics. Might have to approach some real estate agents before it's too late.
