Well done Condor. . I am only in the half ounce club from a little crevicing in North queensland. I Live in Adelaide now. Would have probably went to Vic this year to scratch around if it wasnt for covid.

Thanks, GF. I went mid June in the belief things were getting better and the border would fully open on June 20. Well, we all know where that went wrong.
Fortunately I was nowhere near Melbourne, camped near Inglewood on private property in the bush. Saw very few out there detecting over the 5 weeks I was there, which in hindsight was the better circumstance re the virus. I went into town about once a week to shop and refuel, but wore surgical gloves and mask when I did.

One beneficial thing I realised was when filling my 4x4 or the 2 x 10 lt diesel jerries (for the van heater) was that wearing the disposable gloves made a huge difference re hands not smelling of diesel. Not withstanding the jerries need to fill slowly or they blow back fuel all over my hands, which I found out the hard way, lol. So virus or not, I'll be carrying them from now on, no name brand were about $8 for a 100, so cheap enough.

I was planning on being in the GT until mid September, but if I stayed, it may well end up have being much, much longer.

It's taken me 5 years of trips to get my oz+. so a lot of hard work, but well worth it from my perspective. :)
