Not everyday is a bonanza - especially when you break your sand scoop an hour into a session!

But Bogan still managed to find some treasure ....

A florin, a three pence, 4 two cent brown buggers and a nice silver .925 ring! Also some children's jewelry...

You guys are doing well, been detecting every day this week for nothing interesting at all. Keep it up fellas.

Thanks Heatho and Dave - after the storms last night Heatho if I lived in Sydney I would have been at the beaches all day!

Cheers guys, I'm cleaning these up at the moment and can almost see all of the dates which I will post another photo with them written underneath. Who knows, I might be able to get a success story on the minelab site from my finds in the last month and a bit. A better detector makes all the difference, but as others have said in here putting in the time out in the field is where you get the experience. I think I would be over the 100 hour mark by now

I wish, but the storm came from the wrong direction, would have expected a bigger swell but was only 3ft this morning. The main low was centred in SW NSW, these were just embedded lows spinning in off the coast that caused all the rain.

Need a big propper East Coast Low Ex TC to come down from QLD to really stir it up with 5m swells. Been no big ones at all this year, next one will be serious jackpot time. :) Fingers crossed for soon.
