A good whack with a rolled up paper will fix that.
In my experience, puppies are for kids - it's easier to only own adult dogs.
He is 16 weeks old and likes to suddenly appear from the lounge room curtains at 50kph and leap at my wife's ankles and not mine as she makes sounds that seem to increase his enjoyment-not with me as I have stronger deeper voice and makes him wary of me.
Sounds like he needs a playmate of his own size and energy level!

Watch Dogs behaving badly, he’s techniques are similar to what bark busters use. A spray bottle full of water set to jet spray directed at his nose is usually enough to distract and tell your wife to bhah him when his naughty in a deep voice to put him back in the pecking order, and of cause a good boy and treat when he’s good.

He’s not a cattle dog is he eg bluey, my neighbours blueys bad for the ankle nip.

Yep, I have told her that the dog has a problem with"her" and it's reaching a point where we will need an animal fixerupper.

He's a purebred English Cocker Spaniel--Our last dog who died at 14.99 yrs of age was never a problem.This would be my first trick to try also
Give it a go. Carolyn bought a water pistol last week but hasn't tries it --His puppy streak is still receding ---the bugger can fly 5 feet thru the air and land on either of us -out of nowhere.This would be my first trick to try also
