Here's some encouragement. I find I am lacking lately due to now
living in a town that has been heavily detected since the things were invented...

If there is a grassed area there will be a coin in it. Even paddocks will give up coins or other relics - Even a big fat 3 ring musket ball or brass button is a item of interest for the story it tells - even if there is no base value to the item.

For me though the lure of silver will keep me searching...
 
Nice collection of Silvers Ben. Here's my shrappo haul from the last few months with the Aldi. A quality detector is nice to own but for newbies on a budget you could start with a $100 detector and work your way up saving coins. Almost enough coins there for an xterra 305 or a Garrett ACE, saving for a CTX now, 10% there.

Great finds there Ben78, silver is my target of choice as well.
Doing alright with that Aldi too heatho, just have to know where to look hey ! My mate can hold his own with his 305 against me now,....he has learned to read the numbers, I will soon have to upgrade to numbers to keep up with him.
