Works a charm on my sd2100. Haven't tried one on an SD2000.

I bought a new one late last year and it came with both spoked and closed skid plates. The closed skid plate is quite drummy. I preferred the spokes one.

I'm heading over in a few days with mine. Did a mod to the closed skid plate, by gluing a flat disk on the underside. Will let you know how it works. I tried it briefly in some scrub last year with the closed skid plate un modded and found I got a lot of scraping on pebbles n twigs making it difficult to swing on the ground. If the mod works, great, if not will go back to the open plate.
