I ...my "Device" i`d call it a special tool on steroids , at this point in time (actually as a 'device' would imply that it`s a machine of some sort, which as i understand it , would be illegal to use anyway)

If it's hand driven it'd be legal but if it uses a motor it won't be (outside a lease) but I'd use an excavator.

Your dead right "Big Wave" i am a dreamer and proud of it, yes it`s people like me who change the world and mostly for the better.
No motors/vibration just plain hard yakka with good ol me, it`s just a supersized implement that does just what i thought it would do.
And it`s bloody heavy, and will sap your energy like nothing else will.
I think i will leave it right here, thanks for your responses!!!!

Oh I know MikeB05, if he hadn't been that way about it though I would have been willing to lend a hand digging in one of the shallower leads. As it is I'm just having a laugh.

On a related note though I had been thinking about the feasibility of getting a couple of mates to give me a hand taking a foot or two of soil on a likely lead in say a 10 foot square sections, maybe around the edge of a surfaced area or similar.

Anyone done anything like that? It seems like something that might work out if the grounds shallow enough, but it's a big job. I'd be interested as to anyones thoughts or experiences with similar activities.

I'm thinking more of loose layers on the surface than trying too dig out two foot of clay or hardpack, basically taking raking to new depths.

I kept it kool until bazz dropped it, you know that hole between my *ss cheeks, you can kiss it buddy!
To the rest of you, use your imagination, it`s not that hard!!

Hey Ironrock...

mate go have a look at a thread called "is it wrong to ask where"...in general chat forum. This thread has been happening in recent days and shares views of many members about the idea of asking members where they find their gold.... I think the reaction you got was consistent with the general view that you 'don't ask for specifics'.

Good that you kept your cool but seems you lost it telling someone to kiss your ass

Good luck with your venture to Vic and your new approach to cleaning topsoil and overburden and getting down lower into the ground. :)

With your 'special tool'...maybe seek some venture capital and a patent lawyer...or just share it...up to you...god knows , I am one for being inspired by new technologies....and I am always amazed at the ingenuity of members on this site
cheers mate :)
