I am using a NOCO Genius G15000 UltraSafe Battery Charger. Even it has a high price but I still satisfied with it because it provides protection against overcharging and overheating, spark-proof and easy to use. I think everyone can try it.

The G15000 is my everyday smart charger, I also have the G26000 and the G3500, I like the idea that you can leave them hooked up and forget them and when the batteries voltage drops a little they power them selves back up and maintain the battery and they work with any battery type, I have a couple of their Booster Packs,

Just bought these two 90 Ah deep cycle batteries , $180 each ..

I want a dual battery set up in the Prado, as well as placing an extra battery along alongside the current deep cycle battery i already have in the camper trailer.

I am wondering if its better to put the 100Ah camper trailer battery in the Prado as the secondary duel battery , and put the two new 90 Ah batteries in the camper trailer or can I use one new battery in the Prado dual battery set up and put the other on in the camper trailer to give me a total of 190Ah in camper ?
What the best choice ?

If your going to wire the camper batteries in parallel it's best to have 2 the same.
Put the 100amp as the duel. :Y:

At the moment I have my 3x 110Ah deep cycle batteries on test running my ARB 47L set to 1*c, So far it's been over 48 hours and the DMM is still reading 12.817v, I am going to run them for 7 days without any form of charging IE Solar or DC to DC etc and then I am going to hook up my big 35A charger and see how long it takes to charge them back up,

At the moment the ARB is chewing about 0.61Ah, Spoke to the company who sold the batteries to me and they said I can run them down to 70% leaving 30% in the batteries without doing any damage, But doing this test over 7 days I will be flat out using 30% of the power,

The power draw is pretty low considering it's going to be around 30*c here to day,

Not bad for a set of batteries that are over 3 years old, Ay, :Y: :perfect:
