I have just had my faith in humanity restored. After the council told us that we are on the list to hsve the trees removed, a bloke pulls up on a Flattail Harley and asks do i need a hand cutting up those trees, i said no thanks but thanks for the offer as i stood there with my trusty bushmans saw. We talked about his bike and i said goodbye. Hour later he returns with his chainsaw and says to me, I knew you were lying, started the saw and within an hour both trees are cut up and neatly stacked ready for council to pick up. He was a man mountain of a young bloke and said he couldn’t get to the gym this morning so the workout was a good substitute. When finished I said I don’t know how much i appreciated his help, he just turned to me shook my hand and said , you just did. Then walked away. True story. Mackka

I can certainly appreciate the frustration that being unable to communicate or check state or local authorities dashboards thru lack of power and of course the cellular network or nbn. I’m not sure what the answer is as even many of the radio broadcasters may also have had issues with power outages or lack of generators.

It certainly goes to show how dependent we have all become on information, power and technologies.

Bloody idiots and their parents deserve a thrashing.
I know where your at Mackka,
If just one section of sand approx 2 meters wide falls down it would be like 3 tonne over them.
It would take longer than a breath to dig`em out.
Just been done the beach myself there`s around a 2 km stretch of weed on the bank 4 feet high.
The amount of plastic rubbish is unbelievable most of which the drink bottles has a QLD sticker them. ;)
Bloody Tourists.
