Nice looking interesting array of fiddly bits and pieces Cheese. :D

All these finds were from the old town dump.
I asked the farmer who owns this land did he see any old glass as he was ploughing over the years
then he took me to this spot and said it was the old rubbish pit,
hence the finds are from 1880 to say 1940.
heaps of pings there.

I like the old Yale lock,... not seen on that old looking before.

Yes I do love detecting, I love au detecting but that is only a holiday for me.
Relic is an insight into the past for me.
The best bit is the history of my area,
One day as I have said before, I will have a big statement to say on my areas history but
I can only wait for the museum to help me with some answers on that subject.
But to identify the items is what I need atm.

The buckle is pretty ornate, am wondering what used to be attached to the centre, and if it may still lying around. :)

The buckle is all there I will post a better pic, just got in and what a day it was.
I heard a buzzing noise, I looked to my right and it was a swam go right by me
then later on today a brown in the paddock weed that is getting high, so I had to detect out where
at least I could see the ground a bit, got me baggy thick pants on, but what a day.
