I found a couple of those studs recently too .
I think they must have been for a harness maybe ,as there appeared to be what was probably leather attached

The little car today and the 1943 three pence.
Boy O Boy the one and two cent stand out in signal,

Yeah I've got a pretty decent pile of them too, CTX loves them.....

Yes the Ctx is very good.
some bottle caps the older ones get thru as a coin but not many
the cans down deep become a hassle.
The pull rings are ezy, the sounds in cluttered areas
become distinguishable when worked on,
and a great relic detector.

I've had more 1c & 2c coins than any others this year, unfortunately they are a must dig target if looking for pre-decimals. For a minute I thought you found a jar full of silvers.

Old lid,
I found in a paddock a bit away from an old house there,
but any idea on the age of the lid, looks like a
tobacco tin lid.
