Hi Tryhard. The Aldi detector is $99. They where on sale on the 3rd January and would be very few left. I did see 2 at the Rutherford store yesterday 16/1/2015. If anyone would like one let me know and I can go and grab it.

Great looking lock that , give it clean up with molasses , put it on ebay(only if you dont want to keep it) im sure you will be surprised

I was watching diggers today on Fox and he found a saddle badge that looked similar to the badge i found got me thinking it might not be a kids toy badge?

some say 3 parts molasses to one part water,...the old fellows used to say 1 part molasses to 50 parts water, way back when Ivo.

Went out today for a hour detecting and come up with a penny? Have to clean it up to see what it is, the hammer to the piece of cap gun i found,and a lead cowboy riding on a horse my favorite find so far.

Another quick hunt today and came up with a brass belt buckle from a saddle

.and what looks like a old clasp for a traveling trunk and a metal ring
