Coil choice for patch hunting

Interested what coils other prospectors use for a new patch search?
Say there are no obstacle limitations narrowing options to smaller coils.
Would you go for really big less sensitive coil like 18"+ with advantage of ground coverage or small sensitive coil to be able discover small shallow nuggets then switch to bigger one to get deeper stuff??

For big walks in new ground an 18" round NFA
For shorter walks in new ground a 15" spoked round NF EVO

I use a 15 evo and then a 12 evo

I start with 17x13evo, that's my patch coil (great balance of coverage&sensitivity). If found gold is quite deep then swap to 20"NF, if gold is smallish and shallow then will use 14x9evo purchased recently just for this purpose. Thanks all for sharing your opinions. Happy patch hunting!
