Hay All,
Just met with ChrisM for a cup of coffee and a chat as he was over my way doing some errands.
Anyway a cuppa turned into a 1 and a half hour chin wag. :D
Oh well, it's too wet outside to do anything anyway.
It was good to meet you and thanks for the coffee Chris!

Cheers
Mick

Mate it was an absolute pleasure to catch up with you. With the weather the way it is raining non-stop atm couldnt find a better way to spent some time talking gold and cars. Kinda settles the fever a little bit... :)
We'll try and do it again soon enough and see if any more Sydneyites want to grab a cuppa and a chat
And even maybe plan an assault somewhere local [or not] for a weekend hunt in the future.
Cheers
Chris

No rain out Tuena way, but so cold this morning that my fav little creek had a coat of ice on it.

Regards,

Martin

Ditto for Adelong, was a bright clear day yesterday. Did some sluicing.. Either the Sluice or I has no idea what we're doing though as we returned empty handed. Cleaned the shiznitch out of a crevice to & panned the last 2 inches all by hand.

Up early this morning as setting off 4 a swing :D

I'd be keen as mustard for a coffee/chinwag next time.

No rain on the Turon River yesterday, but it was bloody cold. -2 at 7.30am. Not sure how cold it got through the night, but I thought it felt a bit cold in the tent.
Haven't processed the concentrates yet to know if it was worth it.

Coffee? I have only ever seem ChrisM drinking that lovely nectar of the gods , Turkey liqueur, mmmmmm yum.

I'm certain ChrisM will have a bottle waiting next time you are back in Tuena :D
But don't think you will get an early start the next morning cause I have another 2 bottles ready in my bag ;)

Heavy rain on the South coast of NSW and I am expecting serious redecoration at Yambulla for my Highbanking spot.
