It got the better of me so I Google earthed it , pretty sure I got the right dam, rotating the view I can distort the wall in lots of ways.
Getting a nice square view either along or from behind, the wall is straight.
The southern end seems to have an area where the thickness does seem to vary slightly even when the view shows all else straight.
In my Google opinion I would say it could be a slight risk blown to epic proportions by the media.

I downloaded two images from gooooogle earth but they have mysteriously disappeared, maybe china stole them.

I reckon Google Earth images can be up to a couple of years old so it was probably just hanging in there then. From my experience if it was made in China it's doomed to fail!

My thoughts are China will slowly take over more & more Australian assets .
Where I live They already Own the major mine !

Who is lending the money to keep us going at the moment ?
Our Govt has spent all our wealth ' so where is it coming from ?

Who can answer this ?

I would be more worried about the colored dots in the water than any bend in the wall.

There's ample info online that you can locate with a little Googling - it's not a secret:
https://www.aofm.gov.au/investors/w...ustralian-government-securities-investor-base

Around 40% of Australian Government Securities are held locally, primarily by our banks and the largest single offshore investment source is Japan. Here's a breakdown:

With the quality of chinese steel and concrete yeah I'd say they have a few things to worry about....
Theyre in real trouble if they use the same welding rods as they sell to Australia. No brands mentioned but when I took them back to the place of purchase they didnt even flinch, just said theyd had a lot of similar returns :/

Its not only the Welding standards, its the fact that the Dam isn't 'anchored ' to the base... ...That was mentioned in the very first video put up by the OP....

I used to work with a Chinese bloke in NZ. He used to get the 5h1ts with statements like that. His argument was Kiwi's only buy cheap Chinese crap because they are tight and will only buy Chinese goods of low quality.
Don't forget the most popular phones in the Western world are manufactured in China. Don't hear anybody banging on about the poor quality of those. How many of you happily own one of them? Some even consider these Chinese made phones a status symbol.

They make prawn toast :perfect: therefore Chinese are excellent and all arguments are invalid.

To be honest I would rather Australia side with China over America, if the two went to war my money would be on china.

If it happened now Yanks win.

If it happened in 10 - 15 years the yanks know they will probably get wiped off the floor.

Disclaimer : if China and Russia hold hands and do the war dance..... ? :argh: . :8 . ]:D . :skull:

Only option then is to dig a deep hole , climb into it with a CBRN respirator , food and water to last 3 weeks , take with you a pack of heirloom seeds to grow veges when you come out , take 10 x 135 mg potassium iodide tablets to protect your thyroid and a rake or shovel.

The rake is used to scrape off the top layer of radioactive topsoil before you plant your food crop.

Neutron and Gamma radiation will travel through as much as 1 metre of soil , however its at a diminishing rate as it goes down so you only need to discard 2 feet or so of soil.
