Might take +3hrs to charge with 12 V charger , 2hrs 240V charger.
Did you check the terminal voltage of your lithium battery? . Should be:
Immediately after charging 8.2V.
after a little bit of use 7.4V
flat 5.6V .
If doesnt charge to at least 7.4V with either charger then bad battery.
I have 3 batteries and one arrived DOA, no lights, ever. Minelab (via Nenad) replaced no probls.
