Bunyips & Gold

This should not be confused with Ghosts & Gold ........
Couple of small pieces picked up with the SDC, the Orb Spiders seem to be out earlier in the day, at home they don't 'remake' their web till dark.
BUT really just posted to see who the comedian is that's making up 'warning' signs, tickled my fancy anyway ......

But surely its pointless.....don't the drop bears eat all the bunyips? or is thea only up here in FNQ?

No Cairnspom it would appear that like daylight saving the Bunyips are alive and well down here in Vic, everyone knows Drop Bears can't swim so they get stopped at the Murray River.

It would be just to scare the tourists, just to make sure they don't get eaten by the bunyips(that are obviously breeding up in that area), anyway who in their right mind would travel to Australia just to get eaten(as lots do) by a pack of big snarling bunyips. I'd say it'd be best to leave the place alone and give it a wide birth,.... no amount of gold scraps is worth the risk to life and limb by a pack of bunyips that would most likely track you back to your home and eat you just for fun(as they do) as you hop out of the shower,.... all unawares.. Bad enough when it's only the one bunyip, but stuff that, breeding season and all,.. they have to protect and feed their young too,... gives me the willies just thinking about them.

I don't know what kind of education you had as a child cairnspom , but it's a well known and recognised fact that in Victoria in 1973, the said drop bears and bunyips agreed to a longstanding and permanent truce because of the excessive amount of tourists encroaching into our state forests.
you Queenslanders need your curriculum updated.

Ahh! sad to say, as you might guess from the name, I didn't even get a QLD education! I was 50 before I even heard of a drop bear, let alone a bunyip! but I have tried to educate as many mates as I can back in the uk!

I grew up near Dandenong Vic. and used to travel thru Bunyip on out trips to Gippsland--always got a funny feeling for some reason........WWWHHHhhhhhooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
