I've been told of a simple device with the daunting name of "bucket d*$&@e". Basically its a plastic bucket, hose from the pump feeds into a hole at the side / bottom of the bucket with a larger outlet hose opposite the other side.

You are able to drop material into the bucket and the hose venturii blasts it back to your sluice.

Supposibly they are considered illegal, anyone else heard of them or the laws on this contraption.

That's kinda what I feel. But as the bloke that told me about it said: "you can move the buckets meters from your sluice and still feed it material.."

Mabey there's a glitch in the matrix and there's a few grey areas on this subject.

Well yeah, that's a real fancy version I guess and really super awesome too DWT!

haha...... seriously though love the concept and would be useful at quite a few locations, DWT's build is a monster.

The easiest path for the water is out the top of the bucket. I would have thought a Y piece on the sluice side hose to provide pressure and volume to the sluice as well as suction to the bucket would work much better. Then your bucket needs water either from being submerged or supplied by your pump off a tee.
