Does anyone have any idea if this pick (marked Bradley 1942) was from a foundry in Victoria? Just bought at the Smythsdale second hand shop

I don't know what it means, but I'm pretty sure that stamp on the blade doesn't say "Bradley":

Is there more writing on that solid-looking collar on the end of the handle? It looks like an attachment of some sort. Given the date, military usage has to be a possibility.

Hi Beno.

Looks like an army pick to me, The Name and Numbers could be; Brand name (Brades). Date: 3rd month, 42 = 1942. The up-pointing arrow head stamp, is a military insignia. Foundry Location??
