Finally bit the bullet and bought a SDC 2300 ,I have walked around a few NQ goldfields with a Nox800 but thats like taking a safety pin to a gun fight.
I am not super serious but would like to give myself half a chance when I Go for alook , I am in Townsville and have a couple of gold bearing places I can go and am planning a Palmer trip mid year.
I am just wondering if there are any little tips or tricks that might help me when wandering around the bush.I am not doing this to find heaps of gold just to know I will have half a chance . I do alot of fishing, when I go fishing I dont go and target metre plus barra I go to have a good day and maybe get a barra same as my gold anything will make me happy.
