Hi Shivan ,

Best thing about the mixer compared to a dry blower is efficiency & ease of use with only one clean out even if you were fit enough to process 10 tons !
With the sweep backs fitted to the mixer the gold cant get out & the angle of the bowl can be changed in one second to suit material being dug .

my first thought was we cant use it because it wouldnt be legal . BUT

on the other hand its really just a modified trommel , so it would be okay to use as long as you feed it with a shovel by hand right ?

lol . i like it

:D

Hello HeadsUp , Probably is illegal 8.( remember reading powered equipment can't be used to process material .
Will be OK on private property .

Depends on which State you are prospecting in - powered processing is OK in Victoria; just not powered excavation.

What a fantastic idea
Can we get a close up of the sweep back bar

Sorry I took so long , just noticed your request .

There are two sweepbacks 180deg apart , the bar pushes to the back & the chain re-buries again , the drum is going anti clockwise .

If you know your on the gold ' No need to do any clean out till your ready to go home , then just 2 pans worth to wash .

Mate that is a cool project you did there, can be used (wet) after plumbing :D

If anyone wants to try this unit out the deal is 25% of the GOLD you get back to me .
Simple to use ' I'll show you how in 5 minutes & after you give it a run on a dry field you will never bother using a detector again :D

Only honest people can apply ..

Hey Outback,
Did you end up making a smaller version of this and can it be taken apart for ease of transport?
Thanks, Uncle Bob

Yes Bob I've made two smaller portable prototypes , both are very different ' work well but only dry .
They are hand operated ' so legal anywhere !

Working now on the unit that can process both dry & wet , will have better gold retention & speed then other systems .

Cheers :)

Great looking machine, I love everything about it(even the color). :D
I'm unable to see that video of another unit at the moment though,.... so, how easy is it to empty out for the clean up at the end Outback ?,... or how do you go about it ?
Cheers
Silver.

Hi Silver ,
Below is a pic of hand cranked portable model being field tested , this one emptied the lights by reversing a few times , there are a set of angled blades that do this when turned anti clockwise .
It can work through a ton of dry material or more before the final one pan cleanout using the rear trap door .

This model is would have been expensive to make & the processing needs speeding up , new design faster & cheaper to build prototypes are in the works .

:)

Thanks Outback, had my mind wondering is all,.... back her out like a cement truck ! :D

Just to add some information about the present day small time gold prospectors choice of gear to find the yellow metal .
If you just use a detector including the best on previously detected ground ' you will not get enough weight per day to pay costs & come home with a decent profit , very few attain this

The only abundant gold left for the amateur is the fine gold in desert field deposits beyond any of todays detector abilities .
The lack of water has preserved heaps of ground yet to be flogged out & the only viable tool for now is those inefficient powered dry blowers ' these are banned in many States .

What I'm improving on is a device that will be able to concentrate down a days shovelling to just one pans worth of super concentrate , it's operation is legally everywhere ' will still retain 99% of gold fed into the it & be hand operated plus fast !

Cheers :)

Nothing inefficient about drywashers mate. They are highly effective and hold the finest gold when used properly.

Also completely legal to use in WA and victoria and very easy to turn a profit. Takes careful research and volume.

I do see great value your product but some credit has to be placed on drywashers they do very well here in Victoria.

Thanks for the comment , we call them dry blowers in Australia , as for a DW holding the finest gold when used properly ~ come on want to test that statement ?
Bet I would find gold in your tailing mate !

Thanks for the positive statement about my invention :)
Your a good bloke Golddigg .
