Best road map book for NSW?

I hate relying on technology, satellite coverage, towers, batteries etc.

I'd much rather have a book in my car to drive around the state, discovering new areas.

There seems to be so many choices, but without actually opening one in a shop, can anyone here recommend one?

HEMA has several great Map books... Very detailed but some earlier editions has a few 4x4 tracks not marked... I think in the new editions, these have now been added...After lots of complaints and 'lost drivers'...

Second hand book shops are also a good place to find these books...

I like the spiral bind books, as they open easily and stay opened on the map page you want... Im with you re: batteries, reception ect... Much prefer a Book...

Mrs Wolf is the worst 'navigator' around and when she turns the book upside down and says 'babe?' I know its time to stop and look for myself...
