Battleships and fishing boats need completely different water depths and facilities. Rather unlikely. The Daru port has a maximum centre of channel depth of 10 m and berthing depth of 9 m, but one would have to know local conditions to know if they could dredge deeper. Would not get a ww2 cruiser in there, much less a modern tourist cruise ship.Adrian ss said:And now China is building a "Fishing Port" 200 k of our shores.
How long do you reckon it will be before we see Chinese war ships and subs parked in that port.
What the hell does the New Guinea Gov think they are doing
10 m maximum depth for the port (at present). Don't know where you got 200 m.Adrian ss said:200 mtr depth is buckets for war ships.
That area of ocean is where PNG get a major supply of fish. Why give it to the Chinese.
The Chinese are grabbing control of as much ocean as they can get their tentacles on.....A fishing port so far from home..Give me a break.
The Chinese only ever do anything that is an advantage for them and preferably a disadvantage to everyone else.
This was and always will be a huge mistake.

China produces about 59 million tonnes of year of fish, of which 40 Mt is produced by their aquaculture, something they began in 3500 BC. That leaves around 19 million tonnes fished wild (rivers and oceans), which compares with about 6 million tonnes each for countries like Indonesia and Peru (China has 1.4 billion people, Peru 33 million). PNG is about 309,000 tonnes. Not much we can do about it, the world is fishing out the oceans and PNG has its own government and can make its own decisions. The oceans are open slather, and of course a lot of any PNG fishing by China will probably be in international waters (it is a port being discussed). It is definitely a pity that every country does not show some restraint and coordination with others. Australia is criticized but does not really seem to be a large offender.aussiefarmer said:Have you looked up how much seafood china eats , how about how much frozen seafood in the supermarket came from china ? Im sure they are just planning on more intensive ocean fish plundering, maybe its to replace all the beef and lamb that they are going to screw us over with in trade sanctions.
Any country should only be aloud to fish 200klm from its shore i reckon , give the ocean a chance.
So 300,000 Americans only imagine they are dead after 9 months of a non-existent virus? Including some of my friends? Just a wee bit irresponsible to tell people not to vaccinate, but in this sensible country more than 90% will....AnzacJase said:Interesting topic. Its actually the end of a usufruct. Look that up. Bankers are moving in to collect. First thing to do is turn off the mainstream mockingbird media. Its not a pandemic. Its just cold and flu season. Masks that they are making everyone wear dont stop bacterium viruses. Its a ruse for a financial reset, or total replacement of the currencies. Youll see didgital currnecy, social credit and UBI. Before you know it. Bitcoin and cryptos may be good at the moment but can be turned off with the internet. Stocks and real estate are a Ponzi scheme. It will soon fail. Gold and silver in physical form are real wealth, outside of the system and have stood the test of time. Plus you will be able to buy and barter with them. The depopulation agenda is coming. Australias population is set to be 15 million within 5 years. Do not get the ***, that is the start of it. We are in a depression, make sure you prepare with food, water, security, wealth preservation, community and energy etc. This will place you in a better position coming out of it.

You are pissing in the wind with people who believe in that many different conspiracies....
And beware of those bacterium viruses (a new invention).

Yes mate I do pick up on it but making a joke out of the current situation is not the right thing to do, It's ok mouthing off about it when you are 14,000ks away and well protected but for the rest of the world it's a bit of a nightmare,
I don't mean to be nasty about it but being stuck in the middle of it I don't see it as something to joke about, be it sarcasm or any other form of humour,
