Hi everyone I'm new to this site I'm going camping up near the Avon Valley Western Australia. Me and my Son are a couple of real keen fossickers / prospectors love having a scratch around for minerals and gem stones in new areas iv not been around before. I would really love to have some info where too have a look and have scratch around. This would be so much appreciated Thank You everyone

Anywhere along the Avon river is worth a poke around and some pan and sieve work. My rule; go for the gold spots but keep an eye out for some other gemstones.
