On a recent trip to Burra with the grand daughter there was a reference to Midnight oils Diesel and dust albums front cover photo and it was next to the photo of Wilkins cottage
Dick Smith discovered the ruins of the cottage in 1993 and got the ball rolling to rebuild the cottage.Something didnt feel right as when i compared the two photos they didnt look the same to me they are both in the Mt Bryan area not far apart but we didnt actually get out that far so my apologies for an erroneous question.

Was it the collision of two Avro Anson Aircraft on a training flight from Wagga which successfully landed attached to each other.

Not sure how that saves 40,000 pounds but it's a great story.
