This one as multiple answers but very interesting.

I was reading a topic on PA the other day and someone stated Australia doesnt have any active volcanos, which not true. Theres two

So the question is how many states and territories does Australia control currently? Where are the active volcanos? and which territory is the smallest on the mainland? and where is the last active volcanos on the mainland?

Bloody hell Ward69, what a question. :8 :playful:

Australia has six states and ten territories, 3 internal and 7 external, the smallest internal territoty being Jervis Bay Territory.

Last mainland active volcanoes were Mt Schank and the Blue Lake Craters in SA approx 5000 years ago.

Australia s active volcanoes can be found in the Australian Antarctic Territory on Heard and MacDonald Islands.

Well done All yours. Most Australians would have said 6 states and 2 territories but theres a lot more, back in old days there was only 2. NSW and New Holland I was surprised for 50 odd years NSW controlled, the two islands off the east coast now known as New Zealand Now that explains a lot.
