Before you clean the 1922 thrippy just make sure it aint a 21/22 overdate,... they are worth a lot more and thereby deserve the appropriate non action.

Supposed to be 37* tomorrow
Went to a nice shadey spot this arvo

3 'Australian Commonwealth' buttons , pretty cruddy but in good condition

1943 penny , 1876 half penny

1951 & 1917 threepence and a well worn 1876 sixpence

And 6 obligatory BB's

Small straight 6d down,.... nice silvers, old silvers, top buttons,.... a cracker of a day I'd say.

Must get out and detect more shady spots with finds like that, I guess they would have been doing the same in the past, hence the lost coinage. A good selection of early silver/coppers and buttons in that lot, certainly well worth the heat.
