12 month probably 200 hours, the 3000 worked fine I just got spoilt with my mates 5000.
Just can't justify buying one at this stage.

Paul_Mac if you're in Adelaide, join the South Oz Beepers and Panners group on Facebook and you can attend our next outing. We recently had our first outing to Mt. Crawford and 9 nuggets were found.

There was quite a variety of detectors, a few GPX5000s, X-Terra 505, Eureka Gold and Garrett ATX.

I've got a few detectors you're welcome to try before you make a decision.

I bought my SD2000 in January for $950.00 with the 11" DD and 18" dustbin lid coils. I took it out a few times to test then did the GPM and 4 frequency +VCO modifications myself and the next week picked up my first nugget with my 8" mono coil. It was 9/100ths of a gram, much less than a match head . I don't even know if I had adjusted the settings correctly at that stage so I was running blind at the time. The next time I took it out I picked up a 13 gram nugget which was only about 4-5" deep and realistically any detector would have found it. No matter what you buy you still need to put that coil over the gold otherwise you don't have any chance of finding it anyway.

The SD2100 is advertising for around $1500.00 and the SD2200 about $1800.00.

Regards Axtyr.
