Go for a walk away from the scrapes. Look for piles of small rocks, usually 4 small rocks with 1 piece of quartz on top. That is how the local legend marks where he found a nugget. He used a 3500, and those little mounds were everywhere.
I saw about 4 of them!!
they were actually quite flat like the stones had been set together.

I thought someone was making NT desert roses !!

I was going to take a photo but didnt.

I did detect around them .

2 days 4x0.1g .

This post illustrates perfectly my belief that this is one of the most friendly helpful forums around.

Will there ever be an audio target/response adjustment tone pitch? Separate enity from the audio threshold tone pitch.

I really hate how factories assume the best audio target response based on the preset tone of threshold im using for my hearing. Be nice to have it separated for full user customisation.

Give ‘em time mate... anything is possible with these new detector innovators, they listen well. For me though, I’d like it if it screamed “Hallelujah “ over a big slug. 😂

The algo has a vibration feature that you can turn on pretty cool. PP

Re (Give ‘em time mate... anything is possible with these new detector innovators, they listen well.)

I Think the handle under the screen has a similar design to the Nox 800, to me its a pain after hours of use,(your forefinger is using the bottom of the screen/control unit to hold up the detector) unlike the hold handle of the 2300 the top of the 2300 handle helps with the support

I think the Target ID is great especially for Lead Shot, just would like to see the Number on the screen say 3 times larger for say 3 secs, for quick identification for those of us who don't use reading glass when detecting.

Yes Pete, I thought the same about the handle issue... This is how I fixed mine. A thick silicon ring over wrapped with a tennis racquet grip. No more hand slipping up the handle 👌

if you are in Ultra Fine Gold then try Fine Gold mode.

on my 12 Evo it makes a WORLD of difference. Far steadier threshold, almost zero bump sensitivity and greatly reduces hot rocks. depth on anything more than 0.3g is same or better.

It is like a completely different detector

Why the 11' Minelab, Why Not the 14x9 Evo if purchasing a new coil.
I guess at present im playing safe with the sadie its new the minelab is used.80bucks from ebay
When i knowfor sure the machine is ok i may look into another fancy eliptical.i also got a lightly used 15 x 12 minelab but i think its a bit heavy for the algo.
Hopeing to head outo inglewood tomorrow arv for a go even though its a little damp.

Re OzzieAu's E1500 Stand in Post 84 have seen his latest version, that I will copy and use:

Its approc 70mm of heater hose with and internal diameter of 13mm, heat up the hose and push over the end of the legs for about 15 to 20mm. From memory he has pushed something inside the end that goes to the ground ( a small piece of a nylon fishing rod) to give a bit of additional rigidity.
Good one Adrian.
