Hi I got one of the aldi USB microscopes a couple years ago. looks the same as the current one on offer although the current one may have a much better camera .
Attached is some gold at 10X and 60 times i think. The gold is panned from a creek where there is almost no fine gold, just mini nuggets. Under the microscope you can see the great shapes...pity they are not 60X bigger. The resolution is poor because i did not have the lighting right.
