Pleased to hear it's arrived Dave , if damp try drying the dirt/gavel on a tarp in the sun then sieve through quarter inch Or 6mm before in goes into the JackWinder .
You could also dry the material over a fire if rich enough :Y:

Thought it was the ants pants at the time , had self adjusting dirt directors that allowed operation both ways from concentrating to clearing out the lights , they worked when the material changed direction thus the dirt pressure switched angle on discharge .

These were needed when reversing direction for the blades to take out the lighter material .

But That model although good at the time lost a small amount of gold when testing .

Thanks Graham for the compliments , I was on a mission year after year ' model after model to get it right !

Below was the model after what I showed you , bit faster & efficient with the changes but the same reverse turning to dump the lights .
I wasn't satisfied as usual so onto the next & next models with more ideas each time :idea:
