This nugget would weigh approximately 1kg . Try holding a 1kg sugar packet with 2 fingers :eek: . Im with Meta on this one.
EDIT. Did my sums wrong I was thinking it was 38oz for some reason.. in fact its closer to 2.5 kg

:8 and i overstated by 2 oz. obviously i got all caught in the buzzz...
Sorry Casper , I wasnt correcting your estimate mate but rather correcting my blatant error in weighing it up :8

cool bro - i didn't read it that way..... made me re-read my post that's all

CGS had nothing to do with this find, they are just using the photo's to promote their tours (Misleading)....
This was pointed out to them and they have since posted some more pictures stating it was not found on one of their tours...

Having actually done one of their "Tours" i would NOT recommend them to anyone....

Still an awesome find though, good luck to the guy.

Not sure I'd like a total failure on my vehicle though and get stuck for a week with no way out. As I pup I did a 3 month contract there. The local wildlife is well.....interesting at times. Had banjo tuning down to a fine art on the upside.

Hehe yeh mate, the bush acoustics in the area are simply superb for my Cort six string around the campfire!

Vehicle failure? For a week?.....grouse!

[Sorry darl, Im stuck in Inglewood waiting for a part, wont be home for about 5 days.....staying at pub!]. :p

@Golddigg.......What have you heard Dusty?

by the way... "we are getting ready for 2015 gold tours for western Australia we still have got spots available for this year." ;) ;)

It wasn't found by C.G.S tours ! The guy watched one of their videos and took some pointers. Seems to be a lot of ******** floating around about this nugget. They have said it came from Inglewood/ Kingower area. Would be closer to Kingower than Inglewood as there is only one patch of bush in that area that looks like that. If it's real then good on him but it just seems like advertising to me.

Sometimes I think a lot of these big nuggets are found months or years before they make it public so they can clean up the smaller ones around it and wait for the price to go up.

Still it's a Great Find And I am Pleased for the Finder of the Nugget, I sure would like to hear his side of the Story, It's things Like This that Keeps us All Going,
I'd think that One that size would make A Heck of A Noise even A few Feet Down, If that's it that one in those Pictures he didn't have to work to hard to Dig It, Good On Him
